One of Otium Planning Group’s founding directors, David Mason, has recently stepped down as a Director but continues to play an active part-time role as a Senior Associate.
David’s extensive experience in the industry has helped guide Otium’s rapid progression to one of Australia’s largest and most respected specialist sport and leisure planning consulting firms.
David made the decision to step back to a part time role to spend more time on his own recreation activities which include singing bass in his barbershop quartet, travel, golf and keeping fit…and learning to be a better cook.
“It’s been a career highlight to be part of the creation of Otium Planning Group and its rapid emergence as an industry leader across Australia,” David said. “Otium is led by good people with integrity, who value quality, and work hard to deliver it. We always had a succession plan in mind when the company was formed, and in stepping aside as a director, it’s a pleasure to create an opportunity for Jason Leslie to take up a directorship”.
Fortunately, David’s 23 years’ consulting experience across all industry sectors will not be lost to Otium as he will continue to provide specialist advice and assistance to the team. His many clients will continue to see him around for some time yet.
