Three Western Sydney University (WSU) students – Damon Glavas, Sudeepta Tarafder and Ryan Quail – recently presented their internship research findings to the Directors of Otium Planning Group.
Despite the challenging conditions presented by Covid-19, the students were involved with a range of projects. This included research of emerging international sport and recreation facility trends, analysis of aquatic facility data indictors and a review of the Local Strategic Planning Statements from Greater Sydney Councils.
Managing Director Kate Maddock said, “We are grateful for the hard work and comprehensive research that the students have undertaken during their time with Otium Planning Group. We hope the students have gained valuable experience and developed key skills that will assist them in their future careers within the sport and leisure industry and we wish them all the best for their future endeavours”.
